KENNEL UPDATE

April 2009
Dear Friends,
As some of you know I have been having trouble with my hip and I must
now have a hip replacement. The surgery is scheduled for the end of
May.
I will continue grooming and boarding until May 26th.
The kennel will be closed for boarding and grooming as of May 27th.
I graduated from grooming school in the spring of 1976 and have truly
enjoyed my grooming and boarding career and my passion for dogs in
the past 33 years. I am hopeful that I can return to my business and my
dogs and a career that I love. I appreciate your past confidence in my
grooming skills and trust in handling your dogs and your loyalty to my
business. I hope that we can continue the good relationship we have built
over the past years.
Thank you for your continued support, confidence, trust and friendship.

Dear Friends,
I closed the door to the kennel today and for the first summer in over 30
years the kennels will be quiet.
Believe me, the last thing I wanted to do is close my business. But I know
that it is time for me to have the surgery and I am at peace with my
decision.
I have been overwhelmed with your support, encouragement and good
wishes.
I have enjoyed the many "hip stories" you have told me and they have
given me hope for the future.
I appreciate everyone who said they would pray for me. One gentleman
told me, " I'm not going to pray for you, I'm going to pray for your Doctor".
So please keep me and the Doctors in your prayers for a successful
surgery and recovery.
The best people in the world live in Pocatello and they are my customers
and friends.

Dear Friends,
It has now been a month since my surgery. I am walking with a cane and
going to physical therapy. I have learned a lot about myself this past
month.
I am grateful to all of you for the cards, calls, e-mails and offers of help. I
really appreciate that you are thinking about me. I miss my life with the
dogs.
I am still hopeful that everything will work out and I will be able to return to
my business.
I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July!
